Enter Persona 4 Arena ULTIMAX in the red corner, a spin-off beat-em-up game set in the Persona universe and featuring a cast of recognisable characters. Persona 4 Arena ULTIMAX actually first released way back in 2013 but this new version, which launched last week, now brings the game and all of its DLC and updates to PS4, PC and Switch. During that event, I was busy working up a sweat in the blue corner because, to celebrate the launch of the game, I was thrown into a boxing ring for the very first time, where a duo of professional boxers taught me how to throw a proper punch. In the name of content, Aoife was on hand with a camera, filming my pain as the trainers put me through my paces for your entertainment and you can witness the (lack of) fitness in the video below. After I’d been through this gruelling training session, Aoife and I then sat down to have a best of three VS. match on the PS4 version of the game, but who ended up taking home the coveted P1-GP Championship belt?
